In Buddhism, they believe in many things that symbolizes their beliefs. And the 8 Auspicious symbols are also one of those symbols. Now, let us see what are the other symbols in Buddhism aside from the 8 Auspicious.

Eight Spoked Wheel – The eight spokes represent the Noble Eightfold Path of Buddhism. They are said to have sharp edges to cut through ignorance.

The Bodhi Tree – became a symbol of the Buddha’s presence and an object of worship. This is quite understandable.

The Buddha’s Footprint – the footprints also remind the followers that the Buddha has entered nirvana and is no longer present in the physical world. Buddhist symbols that have several legends and symbolic meanings attached to them. This was also indicated towards the physical presence of an enlightened being on the earth.
An Empty Throne – lies in the concept of ‘empty’, an important element of mysticism. This was also symbolizing the royalty of Siddharta Gautama.

The Lion –is the symbol of the royalty that the Buddha was a part of before attaining enlightenment. It is also the power of the Buddha’s teaching is quiet often compared with the roar of a lion.

Treasure Vase – This is symbolize as the innumerable qualities of Buddha’s body that contains spiritual jewels-the treasury of all desires.

Banner Proclaiming Victory – This symbolizes victory over negative influences;it is a flag that celebrates the victory of Buddhism; the standard erected on the summit of the palace of salvation.

Conch Shell – This one symbolizes the sound of dharma in which can be heard in all directions, proclaiming the fame of the saints; the blessedness of turning to the right.

Pair of Golden Fish – Golden fish symbols represented Buddha eye. It also transcendent wisdom, happiness and utility. It is also symbolic of beings saved from the ocean of earthly life and suffering.

Endless Knot – This is a mystic diagram that represent the great love of all the Buddhas. It is also the never-ending continuity of the teachings of Buddha’s mind; this is the knot of love and the thread which guides to happiness.
Lotus – This is the one who represent the purity of the Buddha’s mind, the one that emblem of original purity, pledge of salvation of nirvana.

Parasol (Umbrella) – This is the one that denotes respect. It will also give you a protection from the evil and the heat of evil’s desires.

The Wheel – This is the teaching of Buddha and the wheel of doctrine of religious law. this is the wheel which leads to protection.
